Wordless Wednesday: Images of Attachment

Welcome to Wordless Wednesday!
It's been kind of a crazy week for me so far! I was banned on Monday, posted about it Tuesday and today, i'm continuing on my breastfeeding theme by bringing you breastfeeding/AP photos from across different countries and centuries. Attachment parenting is no new fad!

I have included titles, artist and the year where I could find the information: If you know some information that is missing, please leave it in the comments so I can update the captions! Also, let me know how you found me and who to thank for sending you! :)

[Update 7/16/12: This is quickly becoming one of my more popular posts- if you share it on Facebook, please tag me so I can show you support on my page, too!] Also, you can subscribe by e-mail and make sure to never miss another awesome post!]

  1. Beautiful images of a beautiful, natural, and utterly normal way to feed and parent your child. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love these images!!! I wish I was brave enough to publish my own breastfeeding photos. As I consider gently weaning my almost 2 year old, I find myself drawn to these types of images. I guess I'm trying to soak it all up while we're still going.

  5. Wonderful post - I love seeing all these images gathered together. My baby is sleeping on my lap, and it made me snuggle her just a little bit closer. :) I'm your newest follower!

  10. Nothing could be healthier, more natural or create a stronger bond between mother and child.
